By Morrissey Morrissey

Thursday, April 5th: Thoroughbreds
Capitol Theatre, 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m

I want to see this movie so bad. I know, you might think I’m supposed to be writing this section for you but what you might not know is that “Stuff 2 Do” is just a short version of the long form title “Stuff Morrissey Wants 2 Do With or Without You, The Reader”.  It’s nothing personal. It’s kind of like bullet journaling for me, but in a really public and exhibitionist way because I’m a gemini. Anyway, this movie looks pretty good. The film follows two girls, Amanda who “feels nothing” (same) and Lily who “feels everything” (somehow also same) who try to scam some guy into killing Lily’s horrible step-dad. With quasi-”Heathers” vibes, it looks like the type of movie that can be really good or really bad so, so easily. How fun!

Saturday, April 7th: Buy Books for Stonewall Youth

Barnes and Noble on Black Lake Blvd or Online, All Day

Welcome back to school! Have you bought your books for the quarter? No? Haha, me neither. Good news, though. Instead of going to the campus bookstore you can just buy them at the Stonewall Youth Book Sale fundraiser at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, April 7th! Usually, buying books from the campus bookstore or from Barnes and Noble would be about morally equal in my book (i.e. both bad) and I usually would just end up printing out an entire book from the computer center (Did you know you get unlimited printing? Did you know my printing habits are the reason our tuition keeps going up? Sorry.) but this Saturday, a portion of sales either in store or online (With the code 12335733 at checkout) goes to our local LGBT youth group. Isn’t that great? Looks like your procrastination has finally helped you out.

Monday, April 9th: Sock Monkeys for Social Justice

Parents Organizing for Welfare and Economic Rights, 5:30 p.m.

Happy Monday, We! Are! Making! Sock monkeys!!! Sorry I’m yelling but I’m just so excited for cute tootsie monkeys. On Monday, April 9th, P.O.W.E.R. is putting on a baby sock monkey making party at 5:30 p.m. where people can get together make some cute little sweet baby cloth babies. These amazing little stocking angels will then become part of the Sock Monkeys for Social Justice Project and be sold at artswalk. Half of whatever the amazing little boy makes going to P.O.W.E.R. to help continue their work for families in poverty and the other half goes to you! This event sounds like a dream come true, and definitely very similar to a dream I’ve had before. Do everything you like (That is, making sock monkeys) all in one night while helping our community too!

Tuesday, April 10th: Horsemanship 101

Healing Hearts Ranch Oly, 5:30 p.m.

Did you know horses are psychic?  If you’ve ever ridden a horse (God bless you if you have) then you may have heard the horse guy say “Don’t be nervous, they can sense your fear,” with a smile like it’s not something to be hugely terrified by. Who let them? Who gave horses the power? They’re already way taller than humans and can run so fast, why do they have to be mind readers too? I’m so happy we live in the timeline where horses just haven’t cared enough to overthrow humanity. During this 6 week course, you can learn to appease these humble and horrible creatures!
